Sweet Sophia

We have been having so much fun and enjoying Sophia so much! We feel so blessed to have her in our family. She laughed for the first time this week and we have been seeing lots of smiles. It's fun but also sad how fast she is changing. She is such a sweet little girl.

Valentine

This year the girls and I celebrated Valentine's Day together. Chris was out of town on a business trip. We had lots of fun with School party's and later our own pizza and movie party. I made the girls dresses with matching Valentine's aprons. I wanted a picture of Madeline in hers but it was off about 2 seconds after we came home. So here is a picture of Olivia in hers and Madeline all decked out 80's style. Six year olds are fun, they are reaching a new found state of independence.

Snow Day 2008

It snowed 2" in St. George on Feb 4, 2008! We let the girls stay home from school to play in the snow. Here is a fun video watching Madeline play in the snow / rain.

Stress-Relievers for Exhausted, Desperate Parents...

I came across this when I was preparing for my Relief Society lesson. Sometimes laughter is just the best medicine.

1. Pop some popcorn without putting on the lid.
2. Use your Mastercard to pay your Visa.
3. When someone says, "have a nice day," tell them you've made other plans.
4. Make a "thing to do" list of things you have already done.
5. Pay your electric bill in pennies.
6. Drive to work in reverse.
7. Have your surname legally changed to "Your-Highness."
8. Pound your head repeatedly on a pile of lightly toasted Wonder bread.
9. Brush your teeth vigorously with cheese whiz.
10. Read the dictionary upside-down and look for secret messages.
11. Bill your doctor for the time you spent in his waiting room.
12. Stare at people through the tines of a fork and pretend they're in jail.
13. Start a nasty rumor and see if you recognize it when it comes back to you.
14. Put your toddler's clothes on backwards and send him off to preschool as if nothing is wrong.

Sisters

This last week my friend Sara came down from Bountiful and took the girls pictures. We had so much fun! I will post the others when I get them.
