Olivia's Christmas Violin Recital

Happy 1st Birthday Sophia!!!

I really can't believe how fast a year can go. Sophia is one!! What a little blessing she has been in our family! I was worried about having 3 children, but she has made it wonderful! She is always so happy and smiles all the time. Out of all my girls as baby's, she really loves books the most. She will sit in her room by herself and just go thru book after book. That is after pulling them all off the bookshelf first. She is such a little doll and I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for choosing me to be her mother. I love that we named her after my Grandma. She is an amazing woman with so many qualities that I hope Sophia will have! I love the picture of them together.

Road Trip!

Melissa and I spent half of October traveling the west. We started out taking our kids to Disneyland, then decided to join Chris on part of his three week business trip in Oregon. We spent lots of time at the ocean, which was AMAZING!! The kids loved it so much. There were tons of tide pools with crabs, starfish, sea urchins, ect.
Then we traveled to Boise where we stayed with Aunt Sandy. Then to Salt Lake where we celebrated Melissa's birthday at Gardner Village with all the Halloween witches. I love that place! Then home! It was a long drive, but the kids were amazing and we had soooo many cool experiences!

Happy Birthday Olivia!

I know I am posting lots tonight, but I better make use of me finally making it back here! Olivia turned 5! She had a really fun day. I made cupcakes and took them into her class at school. Then we had a fun family party that night at the park. Thanks everyone for coming, it's so awsome to have so much family who supports and shows so much love to our family! Olivia really is changing! I have loved our deeper conversations and the big words she always uses out of context. Today while I was brushing her hair she told me to stop because I was ruining her appetite. She just keeps us all laughing! I love her so much and feel so blessed to be able to be her mother.

Violin Recital

Olivia had her first Violin recital last Thursday. It was so cute. She is really doing good, she preformed 2 songs. When she gets nervous she gets silly, so it was very funny at moments with her little silly dance she would throw into her piece. She is really loving the violin. She will practice without me even asking her. Today I woke up from a nap to her playing her violin upstairs, it was really sweet. I love having music in our home!

Fun Quilting

Yes, it has been FOREVER since I have posted. I have been into quilting lately, and I love it! I made this for my niece Katie for her 2nd birthday. I also made a Halloween one that I am having quilted. I will post it when I get it back.

First Day of School!

It has finally arrived! The first day of School. The girls were so excited. Earlier this week we bought sweater stackers and put their outfits in for every day, so this morning they got up, got their clothes from the Tuesday section and got all dressed. I could tell they were really excited, especially Olivia. It is so crazy that she is already in Kindergarten! I love that they are at school together now.
